Quintech Electronics & Communications, Inc. is seeking a Production Coordinator whose primary responsibilities will include coordinating factory floor jobs arranged by scheduling to meet customer service level objectives while always assuring a continuous and efficient production flow, utilizing personnel’s throughput to their fullest potential.

Additional Duties:
  • Support, monitor and maintain, in an accurate and timely manner, work-in-process, manufacturing schedules for top level and sub-assemblies, inventory levels and system integrity to achieve the materials management objectives.
  • Coordinate materials moving from inventory through the factory flow for Production Engineering, Assembly, Soldering, Mechanical, SMT, SMT rework, SMT test, Production Engineering, RF Test, Quality Control / Pre-Commissioning and Shipping to ensure efficient handling, minimizing subgroup lead physically locating jobs per the schedule.
  • Track short items per job following up with respective stakeholders while keeping the production subgroup leads in the status communication loop until resolved.
  • Assist Scheduler and Production Manager with alignment of resources daily to balance force/ load needs. 
  • Collaborate with Production Manager and work with the Quality Manager/ Documentation team to align work instructions with most efficient process flow methods without compromising safety or quality.
  • Identify patterns or trends in defect rates and gather analysis data for root cause determination. Work closely with Production Manager and Quality department to initiate corrective action. Follow corrective action steps to assure efficiency and resolution, refine as appropriate.
  • Assist Production Manager with identifying job responsibility requisition needs and essential duty creation plus refinement as the roles evolve.
  • Coordinate training and onboarding activities assuring clear path to fulfilling the training matrix coverage per subgroup job description.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, adhering to company policies and procedures.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Highschool diploma or GED
  • Prior admin/office experience preferred
  • Work requires attention to detail and a strong math aptitude as well as strong planning, organizational, time and problem-solving skills.   
  • Must have ability to understand departmental operations and procedures along with a demonstrated ability to report to work as scheduled and on time.
  • Must have knowledge of typical business operations and working use of a variety of office equipment and software applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, and database software (MSWord, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills along with ability to read, interpret and carry out both written and oral instructions.

 
Position is a full-time, daylight position, 5-8 schedule Mon - Fri (6:15AM-2:45PM)
