Quintech Electronics & Communications, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Technician whose primary duties will include supporting Engineering and Production as directed by the engineers in the Engineering department!
 
Full-time, daylight position, M-F 7:30am-3:30pm
Seeking local candidates to Pittsburgh, PA!

 
Primary duties will include:
  • Assisting in new product development, new product configurations, product improvements, and all associated documentation.
  • Working on new or existing PCBs, configuring programmable logic ICs, and creating simple programs in C or Assembly
  • Working with Production to improve manufacturing procedures, resolve complex production issues, revise products for ease of manufacture, and ensures that products are consistently and reliably manufactured to recognized standards of safety and quality.
  • Assisting in the creation and maintenance of design documentation including but not limited to parts lists, assembly instructions, test instructions, BOMs, ECNs, design documentation, analysis, and test results
  • Preparing drawings and/or instructions for the manufacture and assembly of products as necessary.
  • Supporting Customer Service and Sales as directed. Provide technical information and help with RMA debug and repair in a timely fashion.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Associates degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
  • Two or more years of work related experience is desired.
    Must have knowledge of typical business operations and working use of a variety of office equipment as well as knowledge of computer software applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, and database software (MSWord, Excel, Outlook, Internet, etc).
  • Must have demonstrated ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics and possess good physical and manual dexterity
  • Must have ability to understand departmental operations and procedures.
  • Must have the ability to work on an individual basis as well as in a team environment along with a demonstrated ability to report to work as scheduled and on time.
